This was a fun student profile shoot with Rhiannan MacIntosh – part of a series for the University of the Highlands and Islands focusing on their outdoors degree students.<\/p>

We took to a glen near Fort William to get some action shots of Rhiannan biking. As well as being a student Rhiannan is a member of the Fort William Foxes <\/a> an an all inclusive female focused Mountain Bike social club and plays rugby for Lochaber RFC <\/a>too!\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Mountain biking is easily on of my favourite outdoors sports, it combines a good amount of exercise with plenty of thrills, the odd spill and a lot of time spent in a forest setting, which I find really rewarding and energising!\u00a0<\/p>

The highlands of scotland have an incredible network of trails built and maintained by local enthusiasts. It’s quite a unique type of riding and it I can confirm getting used to the tight, steep, technical riding on wet roots and mud took some getting used to, especially when.I was used to much more bike-park style tracks from spending my days riding in the south before I moved to Fort William.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
