One of my favourite things about Real Turmat is the packaging. The pouches are resealable, which is brilliant – it means that it’s easy to reseal them while the food is rehydrating – something that’s saved laptops, cameras, and sleeping bags a few times from an impromptu bath in porridge! But they also have a second tear-off that shortens the pouch, which is really good – you don’t have to dive deep into the pouch with your spoon and get your hand covered in food to be able to reach all the way to the bottom. It sounds like a little thing but this attention to detail makes a really big difference when you’re trying to eat well, but quickly and efficiently when you’re adventuring!
