The Advancing Manufacturing Centre in Fort William is now open to work with local businesses!
The Centre was opened by a series of ministerial visits, finally being officially opened by Cabinet Secretary Kate Forbes MSP
As a part of the preparations to the opening, I was asked to shoot and edit some video showcasing the different machines available in the centre. This video will be used to advertise the centre, as well as being displayed on screens throughout the building for the opening events.
It was great to be a part of the opening, both in the lead-up to it and on the day itself. Being able to quickly deliver images to the marketing team helped them to keep their social accounts updated as well as getting picked up by other suppliers such as Mills CNC who used my images in their own coverage of the day. In today’s fast moving world it’s really important for organisations to be able to update their social media in near to real time as big events unfold.
I am really looking forward to working with staff and suppliers of the centre now to see what can be made of this great opportunity for local businesses!
